Hello all!!
I am so proud to announce that our highly successful Youth Dungeons and Dragons Class is happening very soon!!
This class goes beyond normal D&D helping to facilitate lasting peer connections, teach real life skills, and inspire a broader connection to the community.
In this class we work hard to teach your family members how to become more confident in their skills and how to play the game with patience, empathy, and purpose. Additionally we teach them how they actually learn!
Here is a brief blurb detailing our class.
Learn to lead exciting Dungeons & Dragons sessions! This class teaches rules and shared storytelling to become skilled D & D Game Masters. Through active play, participants will craft and run their own sessions, developing leadership, problem-solving, and creative thinking. Students are empowered to find their voice and build strong peer relationships.
Level of Instruction: Beginner

Presenting At the Traumawise Parenting Summit
I'm honored to be speaking at the 2026 TraumaWise Parenting Summit, a free 5-day virtual event happening September 14–18, 2026.
This summit is designed for parents and caregivers raising trauma-impacted and/or neurodivergent children, foster and adoptive families, and the professionals who support them — with practical, compassionate, and sustainable trauma-informed practices.
The summit moves through a gentle five-day arc, from "you're not failing" to "small rhythms change lives."
Topics include caregiver burnout, rupture and repair, neurodivergence, attachment, school partnership and advocacy, nervous-system support, and sustainable implementation at home.

Unmet Needs Being Formed
I am sharing an amazing community resource from me of my Community Partners. Eric Hulsing is a brilliant therapist and a mindful community program developer.
Here is the info on his event:
Unmet Needs is a 10-week, twice-weekly group for autistic adults, ADHDers, and AuDHD adults. We’ll cover burnout, executive functioning, emotional regulation, sensory needs, daily living, communication, relationships, and self-advocacy.
The group starts September 15 and meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30–8:00 p.m. in Fort Collins. We accept RMHP and Northeast Health Partners Medicaid.

Unstoppable Hearts Cause Change
August 19th is World Humanitarian Day! Today we honor those who serve others in times of conflict, disasters, or crises. Undoubtedly, these heroes shape our world through journeys of comfort, empathy, and kindness.
While our world seems continually darker, scarier, and angrier, those who serve others shape the opposite. They refuse to give in and deliver light to a world in need.
And while I am sure their burden weighs heavily, the work continues forward. So today, may we honor them, their efforts, and their heart by treating our communities and our world with a resolute care that inspires better days.
Fae Like Beasts- Happiness Happens Month
Happiness is a Journey
Much like a great poem, happiness is a journey meant to be fleshed out, understood, and, in time, to fade away. It may return, and many might argue that it is fleeting. However, much like a great poem, its presence in others may make you cry, its power may bring out anger, and its absence may break your heart. Still, it is a journey.
And all journeys are imperfect, messy things that make you feel them fully at one moment, and may make you cackle at others. Since August is "Happiness Happens Month," I find it important to note that, much like a fae trickster, happiness is a wily thing.
But that is the point of this fiendishly wondrous thing; it is meant to be honored, adored, felt fully, and then it moves on. The importance of this is not to chase it too far or to realms of harm. But in celebration, I wish you to feel your happiness fully, to laugh joyfully, to embrace these wild and wonderful moments, to honor the good in life. And remember, happiness doesn't take away from the beauty of other emotions, and it doesn't deserve to rob you of better things.

As a group, players will lead and develop imaginative and fun Dungeons & Dragons® sessions that will engage players through rich and compelling stories. Players will learn to become a game master by crafting, developing, and running their own sessions with their peers. All players will develop real-world skills like leadership, mindfulness, public speaking, event management, marketing groups, and building complex campaigns. Joining the Guiding Bright Minds Directory
Big wins this week
Very recently, we joined the " Guiding Bright Minds Resource Directory." In my area, this is one of the Largest Mental Health and neurodiversity directories for businesses.
While this may not seem huge to some, this has actually been years in the making and helps to establish us as a more legitimate business in our area. Even more so, this has already helped us connect with like-minded businesses and explore how to make our community a more compassionate space. Because of that, this feels like a testament to the power of Compassionate play and the mission we carry out.
Sometimes, even the moderate wins uplift us in the most meaningful ways.

Self Care is Community Care- National Wellness Month
Self-Care is Community Care
August is National Wellness Month, and because of that, I urge everyone reading this to take a moment and genuinely rest. I certainly know, as a business owner with very strong all-or-nothing thinking, it is incredibly easy to sacrifice my wellness for the sake of the work. However, it is vital to note that burnout has cost so many great caretakers, creatives, and business owners their passion.
It is also vital to note that we are told to carry on in the "grind" constantly. And that if we put in the work, good things will happen. But, far too often we aren't told to put ourselves first, to step back, and breathe. We aren't told to relax, practice gratitude, and embrace calm for a moment.
So today, this month, and in the future, honor yourself, your journey, and your successes, and take time to genuinely care for yourself in the ways that most genuinely work for you.

As we start to move toward the end of July, I can't help but practice gratitude. July has certainly been one of the most challenging, affirming, wild, and deeply productive months in a while.
From selling out 4 camps and almost selling another, to connecting with new organizations, reaching 50 5-star reviews on Podmatch, helping so many youth fall in love with D&D, joining major resource directories, and even starting to establish the next few months of work, this month has been a wonderful ride. There has been so much joy and light as I move forward in my work as a business and as a person.
I am so grateful for each joyous moment that has happened and the ones to come in the next two days.

Stories Through Play
Stories Meant for Movement Camp 2026 was a massive success!
This camp is designed to not just engage play, but to also to encourage mindful movement to tell stories.
We hit almost max capacity several days and the kiddos absolutely loved it. The best part of this camp was introducing these kiddos to empathetic and compassionate play and playing alongside them. This camp helped to build friendships, develop community, and explore how play heals.
